Musical Monday (but on a Sunday): Stephanie Grant!

The next installment of our occasional series, “Musical Mondays” (on a Sunday this week!), is here!

Introducing STEPHANIE GRANT from HARRISON!

Background – Grew up in Zanesville, Ohio. Attended the University of Akron for undergrad in Music Education. My major instrument was Horn, and I enjoyed playing in Marching Band and many other groups with friends.

First music memory – Listening to all of the Beatles music with my Dad, pretending the car was the ‘Yellow Submarine.’

Hobby – Singing with my son (he’s in Kindergarten), yoga, walking my dog, Max.

Favorite thing about teaching music – Making musical memories with my kids – Singing, dancing, and being there to witness their growth from ta’s and ti-ti’s to playing their first instrument.

What is special about Music at Harrison? Music at Harrison is made special by its diverse group of students and their love of & curiosity in Music. Students joyfully engage in everything from folk dancing, playing recorders & ukuleles, to school-wide concerts, 4th-5th grade voluntary choir, and more.

Thank you- we appreciate all you do for our students, families, and community!
