Lakewood Legacies – Abi Norman

During my time in the Lakewood Music Department, I kept myself busy with everything from Garfield Music Crew to ROCK ON! camp to The Lakewood Project and everything in between! When I graduated from LHS in 2016, I went on to study Music Education at The Ohio State University, where I continued my passion for violin and brought my enthusiasm for non-classical music to every performance. After years of hard work, I graduated in May of 2020 with my degree in Music Education. I have since happily landed in my dream come true – teaching music here in Lakewood at Roosevelt Elementary School (my alma mater) and assisting as a director of The Lakewood Project! I still play my violin often and I feel so lucky to get to share my passion for music with my students and give back to my community!
